★General Studies/Primary★
This is the first guild that magicians attend, from 10-18 years old. While studying at this guild, students learn how to control their magic, and figure out their affinity. After graduating at 18, students choose which guild to move on to, usually based upon their affinity.
★Elemental Studies★
Elemental Studies is the guild of controlling the basic elements -- fire, water, earth, air, light, and dark. Students generally only have an affinity with one element, and that's the element they're the best at controlling. They still have limited control over the other elements, however, but nowhere near as much as the element of their affinity.
★Botany/Environmental Studies★
Magicians that join this guild specialize in growing plants that have magical properties. They study plants and the environment, breed/discover new species of plants, and find new applications for plants. They have to ability to feed their magical energy into plants to help them grow faster, and can also absorb magical energy from plants to rejuvenate themselves.
★Practical Uses★
Magicians in Practical Uses don't have a discernible affinity, so they generally stick to the basics of magic. They use levitation, alchemy, and minor potion-making. These magicians have minor control over every aspect of magic, just like any other magician -- they just don't have an affinity for one aspect in particular.
★Summoning/Animal Studies★
Magicians with a Summoning affinity have the ability to summon familiars, or tame wild animals to be their partner. They study new uses for animal byproducts, breed/discover new species of animals, and can communicate with animals. They typically have one animal/familiar partner that they have a special bond with, but can also summon other familiars if the situation requires. Any magician can have a familiar, but those specializing in Summoning can summon extremely complex animals, as well as summon more than one partner at a time.

on warriors, don't they always rp really young characters? like youngest 14/15 and oldest 18/19? are they comfortable with rping adults yet? for us, i know we are, but what about them? | |
