Okay so I already told Stacia and Sara this but for the rest of you here's what happened today:

So actually I'm starting from yesterday, when I was texting Kevin and we somehow got on the topic of likings and I had to erase my inbox because it was super full but here's a paraphrased version:
Kevin: "Well if you've got your eye on any seniors you better snatch em up before they're gone haha"
Me: "Of course you would say that Kevin haha. What about you, do you have your eye on anyone?"
Kevin: "Why yes I do"
Me: "Oooooh who?"
"Lovely long lass, I must say."
Me: "WHO WHO WHO?"
Kevin: "No way I'm telling"
Me: "Oh come on you can tell me"
Kevin: "Not gonna happen Claire"
Me: "I'll find out eventually!"
Kevin: "Oh really?"
Me: "Just give me a hint or something!"
Kevin: "No way I'm giving you a hint lol. What about you, let's put you on the spot. Who do you like?"
(BTW Kevin's already inquired about who I like twice in the past, once from Sid and another time directly to me.)
Me: "We've already been through this, I'm not telling!"

Me: "Fair enough. Do I know her?"

Me: (by this point I was doubtful because he knows I'm a sophomore) "Okay, can I go on a wild guess and say that it's Lindsay, Mary, or Jill?"

Me: "Okay well I fail at guessing"
Kevin: "Haha yeah. You don't by any chance think Alex is a senior do you?"
Me: "He's a junior right? But no I don't like him"
Kevin: "Alright. Is he in the play?"
(I didn't really wanna answer this one because I knew it would be really obvious, since he's practically the only senior guy in the play I hang out with)
Me: "Wait so you like this chick and you don't even know what grade she's in? haha"
Kevin: "Nah I know I was just making it difficult haha."
Me: "Okay, well fine then Kevin make it difficult!"
Kevin: "Alright I will! Is he in the play?"
Me: "Well if you're not giving me straight answers I'm not giving you straight answers. Maybe"
Kevin: "Awww come on I'm almost there."
Me: "It's what you get for not answering me directly!"
Kevin: "Fine I'll stop. Is he in the play?"
(At this point I was finally just like fuck it may as well be obvious)
Me: "Yes, is she in the play?"
Kevin: "Okay, now we are getting somewhere. And yeah"
Me: "Okay well I'm getting me a cast list."
Kevin: "Way I see it I have to limit the list from Logan, Andre, Josh, Zach, and myself."
Me: "And I've got Gabi, Sidney, Winter, Laura and me as a list."
Kevin: "A fair list you have there."
Me: "Oh yes I'm gonna solve this mystery! Oh and I would've hoped you'd picked up that it's not Josh lol"
Kevin: "Yeah I figured lol. Is it also safe to throw out Andre?"
Me: "Yeah it is. And I'm guessing you don't like Winter or Sidney either?"
Kevin: "Correct"
Me: "So that stapler joke just doesn't turn you on?" (Winter has this awful stapler joke she always tells that he hates)
Kevin: "Why would you even say that haha. I must say, I'm very close to solving this mystery."
Me: "Haha why yes I did just say that. Unfortunately I have to go though since I have finals tomorrow, unlike you." (It was 11, he didn't have anymore finals and I did, but also I didn't want him to figure it out just yet)
Kevin: "No way you are leaving I've almost got this"
Me: "But I have to sleep Dx"
Kevin: "Just tell me who it is then."
Me: "Yeah or you tell me."
Kevin: "Well I could but I don't have to o to sleep yet soooo you're up."
Me: "Well, good night Kevin."
Kevin: "Ahh no don't leave yet you've gotta tell me!"
And then I stopped texting. So by then it was obvious to the both of us that we liked each other, but I kinda wanted that to hang there for a little. But yeah, today at rehearsal he was smiling super big around me and stuff kinda like he'd never expected me to like him back but he was really happy, and he mentioned once or twice that we still had to solve the mystery, which was awesome. But then after rehearsal Alex asked me if I wanted to come see the sound booth of our theater for a minute since I've never really been up there, but once we were in the hallway leading there he asked me if I was doing anything Sunda,y I said I wasn't sure and he asked me if I wanted to go on a date sometime and when I didn't respond he just told me to think about it. But then when I got home and I was with Sid and Emery telling them what happened, Kevin started texting me again and said:
Kevin: "So Miss Claire, I think I've finally cracked the case."
Me: "Oh really? What's your conclusion?"
Kevin: "Well, I seem to have figured that you have a crush on me."
Me: "Would I be right if I guessed the same of you?"
Kevin: "You most certainly would be."
Me: "Well, we seemed to have solved this mystery good sir."
Kevin: "And what a thrilling conclusion it was."
Me: "Indeed haha"
Kevin: "Well what do you want to do with this newfound information?"
Me: "I was about to ask you the same thing"
Kevin: "Wanna go out on a date?"
Me: "One condition"
Kevin: "I'm listening."
Me: "Ask me in person."
Kevin: "Alright, deal."
Me: "Okay good, because I don't date guys that can't ask a girl out face to face"
Kevin: "Smart plan"
Me: "Haha yeah. This is so crazy, I never thought you'd actually like me back."
Kevin: "Aww why, you are awesome."
Me: "Aw thanks."
Kevin: "Honestly I didn't expect you to like me back either haha"
Me: "Why wouldn't I?"
Kevin: "Well for awhile I had you pinned with Alex."
Me: "Alex is a cool guy, but I see him as just a friend."
Kevin: "Clearly haha. I'm just happy with the way things turned out."
Me: "Same haha. So what kind of date were you thinking of?"
And the rest of the convo just kinda became talking about stuff and we decided on a movie date, not sure which movie, but in a couple days since we're both exhausted from finals and stuff. But then I texted Alex after because I felt really bad, and that whole conversation was just really really really awkward:
Me: "Hey sorry for being so awkward today."
(BTW I didn't know Alex already knew about me and Kevin so the next line shocked me)
Alex: "Don't stress, tis okay. And have fun with kev."
Me: "Dude, I'm really sorry."
Alex: "It's really fine, don't worry. I actually felt worse for you in this situation. But seriously you're more interested in kevin than me, so go for it."
Me: "If you say so, but I still feel bad. And thanks for being so cool about this"
Alex: "Don't sweat it, really. And no prob"
And then I didn't text back because I felt so awkward and I honestly didn't know how he found out or if I wanted to know how he found out. Dx But seriously guys, how did I get asked out by two guys in one day? How? Dx
